Small, portable, commercial drones are becoming more and more popular every year. They are used not only for amateur shooting, but also for solving important industrial tasks of monitoring technical and construction objects, transport infrastructure, become necessary during search and rescue operations, etc. The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise quadcopter has become one of those important and sometimes irreplaceable machines. It comes in two variants: the basic DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise (3E) and the DJI Mavic 3 Thermal (3T) with a thermal imager.

The main characteristics of the drone
In many ways, the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise meets the standards of a commercial drone: its weight with propellers, but without accessories, is 915 grams (the 3T version is 920 grams), the maximum weight is 1050 grams; size with propellers – 347.5 × 283 × 107.7 mm. Its maximum flight speed is 75.6 km/h, time is 45 minutes.

It is a small, relatively light drone that is easy to carry around. At the same time, it is able to perform complex flight tasks, perform important search work, track objects and more. Wide-angle and thermal imaging cameras help him achieve all these goals.

Attentive and accurate
The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise drone has a built-in DJI AirSense system, with which it detects other drones in the surrounding airspace and sends notifications to the pilot in the DJI Pilot 2 app. Safety during flight is increased thanks to a sensor that helps identify the drone. The auxiliary lower indicator enables the visual positioning system to achieve even greater efficiency during take-off and landing at night or in low light conditions.

The DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise drone is equipped with infrared sensing and omnidirectional up, down, and horizontal vision systems that enable it to hover and fly indoors and outdoors. The quadcopter can automatically return home, avoiding obstacles.

With the help of RTK, you can achieve the positioning of the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise with an accuracy of one centimeter. The pilot assistance system APAS, version 5.0, also helps ensure flight safety. This system simplifies flying over obstacles, provides smoother shooting, and improves flight quality. With it, the drone is always safe.

I see, I take off
The presence of a wide-angle 4/3 CMOS camera with a resolution of 20 MP in the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise enables users to take accurate, clear shots (the DJI Mavic 3T version has a 1/2″ CMOS camera with a resolution of 48 MP). The CMOS sensor is equipped with a mechanical shutter to prevent image blur when moving: whether it's treetops or fast-moving objects, the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise will do its job perfectly and you'll get shots with clear contours, without obstacles. The second camera - a 1/2″ CMOS telecamera with a resolution of 12 MP takes pictures from a greater distance.

Using the DJI Terra software, data obtained from the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise can be used to create 3D terrain maps. By the way, DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise does not need to rely on ground points for this.

One of the few but significant differences of the version DJI Mavic 3 Thermal there is a thermal imaging camera with a resolution of 640 × 512 pixels. This feature defines one of the most important areas of application of the DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise in the 3T (Thermal) version - search and rescue operations. A thermal imager sees live ("warm") objects, so it can detect people who are lost or see the location of wild animals.

Easy to manage
Remote control DJI RC Pro Enterprise equipped with a built-in 5.5-inch high-brightness screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Users can connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi, and the Android operating system also includes Bluetooth and GNSS connectivity. DJI RC Pro Enterprise comes with a wide range of drone and stabilizer controls, as well as customizable buttons. The remote control works on both 2.4 and 5.8 GHz and is able to automatically select the best transmission channel. It can work for 3 hours on one charge.

Drone DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise uses video transmission technology DJI O3 Enterprise (OCUSYNCT 3.0 Enterprise). Thanks to technology and four antennas, it transmits video to the DJI Pilot 2 app over long distances - up to 15 km. At the same time, the video quality remains up to 1080p, the speed is 30 frames per second.

Flight optimization and data transfer
For ease of use, you can transfer data from the drone to several devices at once. Using software DJI FlightHub 2, you can build a flight route from a computer, download and view received data in the cloud, share materials with other devices logged into the system DJI FlightHub 2.

Flight missions can be created using a 2.5D base map. There, you can view the previous mission result, in order to simplify the drone's task if necessary and avoid all possible complications on the path of its passage. For targeted and productive flight on the map, you need to set PinPoints, lines and areas on the map of the remote control. After loading the data, correlate the base material with the newly received materials.

The data is transmitted in real time, which is especially convenient when the drone is launched in bad weather or with specific work goals (in this case, it is convenient to work in a team: one controls the flight, the other processes the data immediately in the office).

Compact and light DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise can become a faithful travel companion, because it fits even in a small backpack. This drone, in terms of all its characteristics, can suit both an advanced user and a beginner who is just learning the basics of piloting. We will talk about what other areas DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise is used in later.
